April 2010
So my run was going smoothly until the weather started to act up. It never got bad. A sprinkle here and some clouds, but nothing bad. When I arrived at mile 20 they had decided to stop all marathoners due to the weather. I was livid. You hit mile 20 and and people are just walking around, no sense of accomplishment whatsoever. I was also upset by the fact that they started the race earlier than scheduled and didn’t tell a soul. So instead of starting early on in the race I started with the walkers of the group and spent 12 miles weaving in and out and around folks. That was my third 20 mile run in a month. I get so fired up just thinking about it. So thanks for the prayers said I greatly appreciate them.
Saturday we watched movies all afternoon.

I loved the bella movie.
* Kyle put his arm around me and in a whisper
him: I forgot to wear deodorant, and I can smell my pits
me: Look of horror and trying to scoot away from him
him: It’s ok darling it’s natural…
How do I love you. well let me see
I love you like a lyric loves a melody
Baby, completely wrapped up in you
How do I need you, well can’t you tell
I need you like a penny needs a wishing well
Baby, completely wrapped up in you

I did it, I got bangs!! I fear that I hate them. I don’t even want to post a pic. I hope it’s just because I haven’t had time to properly fix them or maybe I’m not good with change.
At 7 am I will venture out in the rain to run 26.2 miles….god willing. If you think about it and wanna give a shout out to the my main man upstairs for me it would be greatly appreciated. To run crazy fast is a dream of mine that will never happen. So I hope to finish at around 4.5 hrs.
I heard an alarm going off(= fall risk) and went into a room and saw a man standing over his wife. I asked if I could help him and he said no. So I helped him back over to his bed and turned the alarms off. He said quietly that when he woke up his sleeping wife had no cover over her and he had gotten up to put a blanket on her. This touched a part of my soul that I didn’t know existed. After being married for 62 years he still cared deeply about his wife.
Things to do tomorrow:
