3. Even Now by Karen Kingsbury

4.Ever After by Karen Kingsbury. I cried until I had no tears left. This book was heart wrenching to me. Maybe because my brother is in the military.

5. A Thousand Tomorrows by Karen Kingsbury

6. A Moment of Weakness by Karen Kingsbury

7. Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom: Love love loved this one. Older people have such a special place in my heart. I truly adore and admire them for their wisdom.

 I’m a sucker for a love story. I especially love the true love stories. so here is one from a friend of mine. He’s been married 52 years, and gets misty eyed(Almost made me cry) remembering the day he said “I Do”. He is still crazy over this darling of a lady. His illness doesn’t effect his love for this woman. She is a normal woman, but he makes her sound like a goddess. And she is the queen of his heart, and he treats her so daily.

 His wedding anniversary is always celebrated over two days. They got married after he finished playing music at a bar. So when they started their vows it was Saturday, and when he kissed his bride it was Sunday.

 Bingo. I watched a husband and wife play, and they were so sweet. Married 60 years and every time he won he looked to her to pick a prize. He was almost proud to be able to give her things she wanted, and even if she didn’t want something she picked it to make him happy. A very selfless couple. Always putting the other before themselves. rare my friends.

This is why I love older people. There is so much to learn from them and they are a dying breed.

My sister and I are working on a blog!!! It’s pretty exciting, and all about cheep finds that we have redone and sold on craigslist or things we have redone to give others ideas. I hopefully can share it with ya’ll in the near future.
